These are some images of recent commissions I’ve worked on following requests from customers. Feel free to contact me if you want me to create something special for you!

This was a request for an 18th birthday gift for a customer’s son. The customer had requested blues and blacks for the glass, set on a white frame. I had lovely feedback from the customer and her son loved it!
This was another request that was destined to be a birthday gift. I was asked for poppies but on a larger scale and in a rustic style frame. The glass panel was approximately 10×8 inches. Poppy piece by Kelvin Mayes
Drinks stirrers commission by Kelvin Mayes A customer had seen my drinks stirrers at a Christmas fair and wanted something to match their colour scheme at home. I’ve made these in so many colours now and they make a great gift, if you’re looking for something a bit different.
Having seen some of my other framed work, I had a request for a “fantasy garden” piece of glass on a hanging frame. This had led to requests for lots of different variations of this design. Fantasy Garden framed glass work by Kelvin Mayes
Daffodil Tealight glass work by Kelvin Mayes This customer saw my poppy tea light holders on my stall and asked if I could make a daffodil version. This was in memory of her mum as it was her favourite flower.
After seeing some of my other Christmas decorations, a friend asked if I could make some decorations with the initials of her children on them. This was the result and she was really pleased.
A friend asked for a different twist on my fantasy garden design. The request was for pastel colours with a rabbit. Rather than have it framed, she asked for holes to be drilled so that it could be hung on its own using some copper wire.
Another take on my fantasy garden design, a customer asked for snowdrops, a toadstool and a name written on a heart in the corner.
A customer got in touch after seeing my other framed hearts of glass. They wanted a purple colour to match the colour of their room. I used a lavender frit to create the heart and pink opalescent paper behind them to really emphasise the colour.
