This dish is created by tack fusing the hand cut flowers onto a pane of glass. The sunflower is created First using glass powder mixed with water and frozen. It is then turned out and fired in the kiln to 690 degrees centigrade to fuse it before fusing it again.
It’s then placed in the kiln again on a mould to slump it into a shallow dish, perfect for a tea-light, coins, trinkets… the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
These are part of my fantasy garden range.
It is a beautiful ornament in its own right.
Each dish is approximately 8cm by 8cm with a shallow dip.
