Square iridescent emerald dish

1 in stock

This beautiful hand crafted dish is created by cutting a pane of emerald coloured glass, with a rainbow iridescent coating into squares and arranging them face down in my kiln to create a checked pane 12cm by 12cm. This mixes up the rainbow gradient to add interest.  I top this with clear glass.  It is then fused in my kiln to 800 degrees over 14 hours.

The tile is then “slumped” in a mould in the kiln, over 14 hours at various temperatures allowing it to melt enough to become a dish.

The colours tend to shift and shimmer, try it in various places around the home to find the best spot!

I am able to make these in various colours, please contact me to ask and we can discuss design, timescale and price. Not all colours react the same way.

The price includes postage within the UK.
